Thanks for yr reply but I think its unlikely we are talking the same family.

"My" Frank Mower was born in Aldham, Suffolk in 1880, which means he would have been 19 to have fathered yr Grandfather. Its possible but I have found (in UK) most marriages and children came in mid to late 20's.

I have no idea when Frank emigrated either but I think I have found him on the 1901 UK census living in the Suffolk village of Hintlesham.

His parents were William and Sarah Mower and Frank was the youngest of their children. The eldest sibling (my Great Grandfather) being 16 years his senior. Sarah's maiden name was Revans.

I do have a photo of a family I understand to be Frank, his wife and children - if you still think there is a possibility of a link I would be happy to forward a scan.
