Thank you for your reply. I have a metal plate which belonged to Mildred's great great grandparents in 1809. Names are inscribed on the plate as follows: "From Keziah Robinson to John Robinson to Rebecca Robinson Mower to F T(although it looks more like an "L") Mower to Mildred Mower Merrill Fickett. These are etched into the front rim of the plate, which is about 8" across. I hope to find out who Mildred's children are.
I have quite a bit of Mower information and pictures about the Dexter, ME Mowers, if you are interested. I have some plates and cups which go back 9 generations (from my granddaughter)and the pictures of the women of each generation to go with them. I have a great deal of information and pictures on Harrison Mower, b. 1834, brother to the Isaac that you provided information on. The farm in Dexter that he worked to purchase in mills in Lawrence, MA and St. John, NB before and after the Civil War is still in the family. I have his war record and his discharge papers - he signed up twice. If you're interested in this line, you can contact me at email@example.com.
