This Town nolonger exist.
The Town of Partridgefield, Mass was originally known as #2 until 2 July 1771.On this date it was named Partridgefield, after Oliver Partridge, one of the original purchasers of the grant...Part of Partridgefield was given to Middlefield in 1783 and part become known as Hinsdale in 1804. In 1806 Partridgefield became Peru, Berkshire County, Mass. I didn't find the surname "Mower" in any of the towns. Jim
