There is problem with Richard's birth date: Mower Family History (Walter L Mower, author) says that Richard was 20 when he arrived on the "Blessing" from Devonshire, England in 1635, which would make his birth year 1615. However, the same book also says that he was about 73 when he died 1 January 1668/69, which would make him 43 when/if he arrived on the Blessing and his birth year 1595. This just didn't make sense until you mentioned that there were two of them. I'd be glad to communicate directly with you and send you the information that I have. (always nice to find a cousin!)
