Letter form Joe Baggaett, 13 Nov 200:
Mona,
Here's Leroy Morris on the 1870 census of old Campbell County. He was a ferry
keeper in the Cross Anchor District. Because his neighbor is Thomas Hammonds, I think he was the ferry keeper at Hammond's Ferry. This was on the Chattahoochee River just across from Carroll County and about three miles north of the Coweta County line, in the extreme southwest corner of Campbell (now south Fulton) County. Census taken in August, 1870.
