Thank you for the information you sent me. do you know how or where I might be able to find Wills or Probate records? And do you know how far back the vital records go? The reason for all of this is not only for me but for my application to the DAR. I had some difficulty in applying for the DAR under Buckholtz name because backk in the very early 1900's a woman had submitted her papers and became a member under Abraham Buckholtz. However, her information was incorrect. I was able to prove that her information was incorrect and that the Abraham Buckholtz was not A.H. Buckholtz. They accepeted this. Now they want me to prove Abraham Buckholtz Sr. and Abraham (Abram) Buckholtz are father and son. If you have any ideas that could help me with the proofing I would greatly appreciate it. It is with many thanks to people like you that have have helped learn more about my family. This is a wonderful journey into the past and I am having a blast doing this.
