Mattie Forsythe, 89, died June 12, 2008, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church.
Services were at Memorial Funeral Home in Corinth with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Survivors included two stepsons, Grover Forsythe Jr. of Chicago and Harold Forsythe of Corinth; two stepdaughters, Sarah White (James) and Glenda Potts (Gary); one stepdaughter-in-law, Mollie Forsythe; one sister, Edna Harris of Corinth; two brothers, Detroy “DeDe” Settlemires and Bobby Settlemires, both of Corinth; seven stepgrandchildrenl 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
