Robert Charles "Bob" Bordenkircher, 60, died June 21, 2008, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a member of Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church. He was plant manager of Akron Standard Molds for 33 years and of Universal Tire Molds for seven years. He loved fishing, collecting guns, classic Mustangs, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Services were at Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in Dogwood Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Linda Bordenkircher of Corinth; one son, Michael Bordenkircher (Sabrina) of Corinth; one daughter, Amy Bordenkircher (fianc�, Tommy) of Canton, Ohio; one stepson, Scott Settlemires of Corinth; one stepdaughter, Kelly Roach of Corinth; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Denise Bowman (Clyde) of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Marcie McNamara (Robert) of Pansey, Ala., and Mary Starling of Port Orange, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mills Bordenkircher; his mother, Margaret Mary Bordenkircher; and a brother-in-law, Dan Starling.
