Carl Arnold Rickman, 77, died June 28, 2008, at Magnolia Regional Health Center surrounded by family. He was a charter member of Oakland Baptist Church and a retired inspector with Dana Corporation with 30 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved to travel and vacation with his family and friends. He was a great Christian father, role model and promise keeper to his family his entire life.
Services were at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Corinth with burial at Forrest Memorial Park.
Survivors included his wife of 58 years, Norma Jones Rickman of Corinth; two sons, Gary Rickman and David Rickman (Sandy), both of Corinth; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Gernal Mask and Chloris Lewis, both of Corinth; two brothers-in-law, Leo Jones (Lynn) of Hammond, La., and Dick Jones (Joan) of Arlington, Tenn.; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burga Joe and Bonnie Bowers Rickman; four brothers, Alonzo Rickman, Alvin Rickman, G.B. Rickman and Paschal Rickman; three sisters, Lucille Parvin, Kate Riddell and Maudie Rickman.
