Edna Harris, 78, died June 30, 2008, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born on August 10, 1929, in Alcorn County to Richard and Nannie Settlemires. She was a retired packer for Sears for many years and was a member of Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Services were at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Corinth with burial at the Forrest Memorial Park.
Survivors included one son, Danny Harris (Vicki) of Ashton, Ill.; two brothers, Bob Settlemires (Wanda) and Detroy (Dede) Settlemires (Helen), both of Corinth; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Harris; her parents; three brothers, Dewey, Grady and Bo Settlemires; two sisters, Minnie Settlemires and Mattie Forsythe.
