Ivy Elaine Rogers Wegman, 80, died July 1, 2008, at Country Cottage. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corinth and a self-employed business owner. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, flowers, and bluegrass and country music. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Services were at Calvary Baptist Church in Corinth with burial in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included two daughters, Trichia Mattox (Dan) of Starkville and Cathy Taylor (Dan) of Corinth; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; six nieces, five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emile H. Wegman; her parents, William Coleman and Virgie Ella Rogers; a brother, Robert A. Rogers; a sister, Fleeda Kyle; two nephews, Ronnie Kyle and Donald Watkins; and a lifelong friend, Evone Crum.
