James Louis Walker, 55, died July 12, 2008, in Florence, Ala.
Services were at Alcorn Baptist Church with burial in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Patterson Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Frances Walker; one stepson, Byron Shepherd; brothers, Leroy Walker, Joe Ed Walker, Greg Walker and William Walker; sisters, Rosie Spence, Joyce Bridget Helen Walker, Wendy Gardner, Maudie Nichols, Lillian Jones, Brenda Walker and Mary Hope Agnew; a sister-in-law, Mattie Lewis, and Aunt Inez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Walker; his mother, Rebecca Walker; a brother, Robert Walker; and his stepmother, Dorothy Walker.
