Howard Lamar Walker, 47, died April 12, 2009, at his home. He enjoyed fishing, visiting with friends, playing board games, collecting model cars and, in his youth, playing basketball.
Services were at Freedom Fellowship with burial in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Services was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included three brothers, Hilbert Walker Jr. of Corinth, Henry Lewis (Gloria) Walker of Selmer, Tenn., and Preston Walker of Corinth; two sisters, Doris Jean Walker of Corinth and Dianna (Donald) Alexander of Iuka; and a special friend, Gretta Strickland.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hilbert D.L. Walker; his mother, Mary Lee Renfro Walker; and two sisters, Linda Sue Walker and Sherry Denise Walker.
