Kermit M. Trulove, 70, died April 14, 2009, at his home. He was born July 13, 1938. He was a member of Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Trulove’s John Deere from 1974-1961, Trulove Enterprises and Trulove Construction from 2004 to the present. He loved his family and people.
Services were at Gaines Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in Forrest Memorial Park. Hight Funeral Home of Corinth was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Janet Trulove; his mother, Raider Trulove; three sons, Steven Trulove Sr., Tim Trulove Shope (Miranda) and K.M. “Chip” Trulove Jr. (Keesha); one daughter, Abbie Dallin (Cyrus); his grandchildren, Steven Craig Trulove Jr., Christopher Robert Trulove, Kyle Allen Lindsay, Mary Elizabeth Trulove, Robert Tyler Shope, Alyssa Danielle Trulove, Lillia Hadley Shope, Addie Morgan Trulove and Annabelle Elise Shope; two brothers, Herbert Trulove (Jean) and Hubert Trulove (Lynn); and his mother-in-law, Virginia Yarbrough.
He was preceded in death by his father, Troy M. Trulove, and his father-in-law, Robert “Bert” Yarbrough.
