Bishop Jessie Moore, 66, died April 16, 2009, at his home. He attended Easom High School. He was a former employee of Buckeye Feed Mill and Wurlitzer. He was the founder and apostle of Jesus Deliverance Tabernacle Inc., and a promoter of WKCU Sunday morning gospel program.
Services were at True Holiness Church with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Services was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Mary Dell Williams Moore; three sons, Michael Moore of New Albany, and Rev. Patrick (Brenda) Moore and David T. (Jennifer) Moore, both of Corinth; one daughter, Kimberly (Bobby) Moore Dilworth of Corinth.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sammie Lee Moore; his mother, Nettie Mae Crooms; a daughter, Delora Jean Moore; and a son, Tracy Moore.
