Jim Mack Green, 73, died April 25, 2009, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a carpenter's assistant and a Baptist. He was born to Allen and Nora Thrasher Green in Alcorn County on Sep. 26, 1935. He was a United States Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.
Services were at the Corinthian Chapel with burial in the Forrest Memorial Park. Corinthian Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included one son, Ricky Green of Chewalla; a sister, Betty Blackwell of Corinth; a host of nieces and nephews; his companion, Lottie Price; one grandson; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gregory Green; and two brothers, Clarence and Cleatus Green.
