Joyce Taylor, 62, died April 27, 2009, at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. She was a Baptist. She was a former employee of Corinth Uniform, Coleman Barbeque and Automatic Machine Products.
Services were at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Corinth with burial in Indian Creek Cemetery.
Survivors included her husband, Donnie Taylor of Corinth; three sons, Matthew Butler, William “Billy” Butler (Cynthia) of Iuka and Lanny Butler (Regina) of Corinth; one daughter, Cyndi Mitchell (Philip) of Corinth; five brothers, Bill Childress, Tony Davis (Peggy) and Charles Moore, all of Chewalla, Tenn., Alvia Moore (Patricia) of Guys, Tenn., and Kenny Moore (Evonne) of Corinth; one sister, Susie Clingan (friend, Tim Kitchen) of Iuka; her mother-in-law, Betty Taylor; grandchildren, Jessica Rhoads, Cassondra Bishop, Taylor Mitchell, Steven Letney, Kaila Pruitt, Dakota Butler, Madison Butler, Christopher Butler, Josie Butler, and Brandy, Candy, Robin, Sam and Mathew Bradley; great-grandchildren; a special great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Vandiver; her mother and stepfather, Jewell Derryberry Moore and Ellis Moore; her grandparents, Alva and Pearl Derryberry; a sister, Janice Childress; a brother, Jerry W. Moore; her father-in-law, Lincoln Taylor; and a special uncle, Brooks Derryberry.
