Bobby Wayne Wilbanks, 68, died May 5, 2009, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a member of South Corinth Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. He loved fishing, going to flea markets, woodworking, carpentry, cabinet work, and spending time with his family and friends. He always went out of his way to help others. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
Services were at the Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.
Survivors included one son, Greg Wilbanks (Loretta) of Kossuth; two daughters, Rhonda Wilbanks and Danita Wilbanks of Corinth; grandchildren, Matthew Hunter Wayne Wilbanks, Bryan Shirley and Cody Shirley; brothers, Howard Wilbanks (Bertha) and Alva Wilbanks (Ollie) of Corinth, and Gaylon Wilbanks (Willie) of Crystal Springs; sisters, Alma Miller of Corinth and Cap Strickland (Fred) of Glen; special friends, Jean Upwright and Doyce Hancock; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his companion and friend, Reba J. Shields; the mother of his children, Faye N. Wilbanks; his father, Claude H. Wilbanks; his mother, Nancy Leverna Wilbanks; and three brothers, Virgil Wilbanks, Orville Wilbanks and Melvin Wilbanks.
