Ralph Dilworth Coleman, 67, died May 19, 2009, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a retired foreman for ACE Power Company with 36 years of service. He loved his family and friends, and he enjoyed helping others, raising cows, working on the farm, talking on the phone to his friends, and spending time with family and friends.
Services were at the Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Burial was in Holly Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife of 10 years, Barbara Gayle Coleman of Corinth; a son, Keith Coleman (Rita) of Corinth; a daughter, Karen South (Ronnie) of Corinth; a stepson, Teddy Hinton (Christy) of Corinth; two stepdaughters, Lisha Hopper (Rodney) and Caroline Butler (Goldman), all of Corinth; 16 grandchildren, Ronnie South Jr. (Gigi), Anna South, Alley Rose South, Christy Dickson (Jody), Clint Coleman, Cody Coleman, Roddy Hopper (Alyson), Lishal Ryan (Josh), Lainey Ervin (Patrick), Cody Hopper, Clint Farrar, Cari Farrar, Goldman Butler VI, Goldee Butler, Daniel Hinton (fiancée, Erin) and Patrick Hinton; six great-grandchildren, Madeline McClain, Jordan Dickson, Ty Dickson, A.C. Ryan, Roxie Ryan and Ava Hopper; two brothers, Norbert Coleman (Diane) and Dennis Coleman (Sue), all of Kossuth; a sister-in-law, Claudette Bullard (Denzol); seven brothers-in-law, Steve Lambert, Terrell Kingen (Margie), Tommy Kingen (Janie), Nelson Kingen (Kathryn), Billy Kingen (Lou), Johnny Kingen and Ricky Kingen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Coleman; his father, Ronel “Babe” Coleman; his mother, Dimple Dilworth Coleman; and a sister, Linda Maude Lambert.
