Gordon and his wife, Margaret V. Gordon are buried in a family cemetery in eastern Amite County, along with William T. Gordon, born 6/3/1862, and died 9/7/1884. The description I have is go 3.3 miles west of the Pike County line on Highway 24/48, then veer south past McElveen on old road for .5 mile. Cemetery is about .4 mile south of road in a field. If I am correct, you go past the Pike County line, past Irene Road, past MIddle Glading Road, and veer south on old Highway 24. Go 1/2 mile, then walk south about four tenths of a mile where the cemetery is in a field just north of Hominy Creek. Hope this helps.
