My records show that James Dickinson b: abt. 1825 and the son of David Dickinson and Sophia Tabor, was stated as being from Ohio in the 1870 W. Feliciana Census. They were
married in Amite County, Mississippi
He married Mary Taber and they had 5 children.
1)Sophia married a Villeret
2)Joseph - ?
3) Louise - married a Mr. Buckles
4) John married a widow woman named Maggie Robinson Reynolds
This is my direct ancestor and I would love to know
Maggie Reynolds maiden name. She's always listed as
Widow Reynolds
5) Isaac - who married Josephine Robillard
I have a copy of Isaac's death notice from the Point
Coupee newspaper if someone is interested in me
copying it to the list.
Will be happy to hear from anyone who wants to talk about the Dickinsons and the Tabors.
