If you have a copy of History of Amite County, Mississippi by Casey, please check for mention of John Ferguson family and descendants, and if any mention of Fannin. Mary "Polly" Ferguson married Silas Fannin and they lived in Wayne county, WV until at least 1887, then I have found no record of them anywhere. Today, I found just a bit of information that Elizabeth Mary "Polly" Ferguson was d/o John Ferguson and Mary Ann S. Hill. I'm wondering if the family relocated to Amite or a surrounding county in Mississippi. Thanks for any information. Ralph
