Hello, Madalyn. Good to hear from you. I can't be sure about the family connection, but based on the geographic area I feel reasonably certain that there is a relationship. After years of study, it appears that most of the Gosses of Attala, Carroll, and Holmes Counties are related. My great-grandfather was Willis Jasper Goss and he lived near the old Providence Primitive Baptist Church in north Attala County. He had a large family. My grandfather was Charlie Walter Goss who married Loudie Campbell. Do any of these names sound familiar?
