I am looking for a marriage between a Landy/Landie D Brown and Mattie Love
Mattie's parents where Jeff Love and Ida unknown.
Landy's parents we believe where a William Brown and Sallie unknown.
They are either African American or Mulatto
Some census list them African American some list them Mulatto
I am a semi professional researcher in Texas trying to help a man in the United Kingdom neither of us have access to Mississippi marriage.
Landy Brown would be his great grandfather.
Landy's son Clarence was a military man stationed in United Kingdom from what i understand and died in Michigan in 1954.
His information about his grandfather Clarence is very scarce especially since he lives in the UK.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
I have looked at the 35 pages already for Attala Marriages on line to no avail. I think it was becuase they where all listed as of the White Race i saw no colored marriages on the index on line.
