Rice Chapel Cemetery is in Benton County. The nearest town is Lamar. The cemetery is approximately 300 yards north of Hway 72 on the Benton/Marshall County line road. The Marshall County publication carries several Benton County cemeteries which were in Marshall before Benton was created in 1870.The best bet is to drive from Holly Springs north on rte 7 until you pass Lamar and hit US 72, turn west, left, and go to the county line marker. The cemetery is just north of that point on a line road. Dr. Wicker
