If you are a descendant of the following families who sharecropped in the Duncan area ca. the 1930's, please contact me:
Black families:
Mitchell, Crowder, Tyler, Gould, Hawkins, Riverside, Bullother(?), Anderson, Scott, and McElroy families from Mississippi
White families:
Williams, Ross, Floyd and Evans families from Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri and Mississippi.
They were enumrated near my Monix family in 1930(beat 3, district 25), probably renting land from a man named Dave Smith.
