I have found the information that I was searching for in the New Cleveland Cemetery:

James Mallory Ray (7 March 1827-18 April 1913…note: according to death certificate and obituary the date of death was 1 April 1913) married (1)Indiana Jackson Young (15 November 1802-17 December 1862) on 20 December 1855, and (2)Carrie Lee Altom (ca. 1842-by 1900) on 20 June 1866 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. The children of James Mallory and Indiana Jackson Young Ray included: Theodosia/Theodocia “Dosia/Docia” Ray (1 January 1856-27 September 1930) married Soloman Richard Burford (December 1854-13 May 1910), and Ambrose C. Ray (24 July 1858-21 April 1923) married Katherine Newsom “Katie” Burford (2 October 1860-24 October 1949) on 28 December 1882 in Tate County, Mississippi, and later settled in Cleveland, Bolivar County, Mississippi. The children of James Mallory and Carrie Lee Altom Ray included: Mary “Mollie” Ray (born ca. 1863) married Richard Talley and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina; James Absolom Ray (23 February 1868-11 June 1924) married (1)Mary “Molly” Ray (died 1892), (2)Armadie Elizabeth Robbins (19 September 1877-13 March 1911) on 29 July 1896 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, and (3)Frances Isabell(a) Coats (23 April 1874-20 March 1943); Ed Ray settled in Beeville, Texas; and John Elihue Ray (30 June 1875-6 July 1962) married (1)Hattie Givens (5 June 1880-17 November 1917) and (2)Alice O. Wall (10 September 1885-19 June 1967).
