Does anyone in this line know why Samuel was listed as Major Samuel Temple? Also, I've found more on Henry Dickson Temple's line:
Son, George Washington Temple, born Aug 1897, Cleveland, Bolivar County, MS, married Laura C. Sims? in 1915 in Bolivar. Her mother was Lucy and George and Laura had children: Henry Dickson, Herman, Lena and Claudine. His sister, Georgia Elizabeth, was my great grandmother, married to Bailey Wheeler in Cleveland in 1899. Georgia's brother, Henry Dickson, was also born in Cleveland, Apr 3, 1889. He was married to Rose and lived in Drew Twp in 1937. George also lived in Drew Twp in 1930, but owned a store in nearby Ruleville. Looking for other family connections for children of Henry Dickson, Sr.: Roxie, Mary, Oscar, Samuel, Maud and Viola.
