Linda
You dont know me but I am looking for a Parker family that came from Jefferson County Alabama.Thier names are William Parker, his wife Minerva.Thier son Joshua and his family move to Calhoun County between 1910-1930.Joshua Parker and family are listed on the 1930 Calhoun County census. What I am looking for is information on Joshua's daddy William.I have found Minerva, she is listed on the 1910 Jefferson County Alabama census.Joshua lived in Calhoun County Mississippi until 3 months before he died in 1955 then he moved back to Jefferson County Alabama. One of Joshua's sons O.V. Parker(my grandfather) lived in Calhoun County,MS. O.V. is buried in Bethlemhem Cemetery along with his brother O.C. Parker.O.C. and O.V. are twins they were born on 3-7-1911 in Birmingham,Alabama.I think I might have some Parker kin from Calhoun County but havent found any yet.
