Does anyone have access to the 1870 census of Carroll Co., and willing to do a look-up. I am trying to find Luke Wimberly listed there. We have a mystery. He married Levincey Johnson sometime between 1860-70, but on the 1870 census at MDAH, I found her and thinking that he had died, did not look for him. Now I find that he was alive on the 1880 census living with a son, but have not found her yet on that one.
Anyway, we wonder if they separated, divorced, or what and if he was elsewhere in 1870 or just not counted in her household.
