For years I thought father to Eliza Graves was Davenport Graves who married Nancy McElroy 13 Mar 1813 in Jasper Co., GA. Now have reason to question this. Looking for proof of parents of this Eliza. This Eliza b. 25 Dec 1819, died May 1850 Carroll Co., MS, married Matthew Denman in 1835. after 3 children Matthew died, she married his brother John Hooper Denman on 26 Jul 1845 had 3 more children. Both these men were born in Monroe Co., MS, Matthew in 1815, John Hooper b. 1820.
Are there any Graves decendants left in Carroll Co.?? I know some of this family moved to Nevada Co., Arkansas.
