Looking for information about Christine (Christian or Christina) Townsend who married Barnabus Stephens in Carroll county, 1840. She is said to be daughter of James and Unity (Davis) Townsend but I have not seen her in a census before marrying Barnabus. They came to Texas in 1846 and settled in Gonzales. Barnabus later married Eliza Emery. Thanks, Pat
