My great great grandfather, James Albert Calhoun was born 01 Mar 1849 in Carroll, Mississippi, and died 23 Sep 1888.
He married Emma Jane Eades 27 Sep 1871 in Mississippi, daughter of James Eades and Flora McEachern. She was born 27 Sep 1851 in Shongalo, Carroll, MS, and died 07 Mar 1918 in Jackson, , MISS.
In the 1850 census, Rob Calhoun (46) was listed as a farmer and Ruth (41) Calhoun lived in Carroll, Mississippi with children Adaline(16), David A(14), Sarah C(11), Archibald(8) and James A(1).
