We need McCains who are descendents of Joseph McCain (b 1773) and Agnes McCain to participate in a McCain Family DNA Project.

This McCain family settled in the Carroll County area and were numerous in Lexinton, Carrolton, etc., members include:

Nathaniel Henry McCain b 1821
William Alexander McCain b 1817 CSA
Dr James McCain = Ann Jeffries
Dr Sidney McCain b 1829
