Williams, Lamb, and McMillan of Carroll/Montgomery Co., MS

I am trying to prove/disprove a suspicion I have about my William Williams. He was born in Kershaw District, SC in 1791. I believe he may have gone to Robeson Co., NC during the war of 1812. He married a Tilla (or Tella, or Telly, or Tally) sometime between 1814 and 1820 while living in Robeson County. He and his family moved with a John McMillan and a David Lamb to Carroll Co., MS sometime between 1830-1840. I believe that William's wife, Tilla, was a McMillan (d/o or sister of John McMillan). I also believe that Tilla's first husband was a Lamb that died before 1810. Furthermore, I believe she may have been the Tally Lamb living in Robeson County in 1810.
