Hi, I am looking for the parents of Martha, Sarah F. and Mary A. Jackson. They are living with James and Nancy Sims and their children in Smith County, MS in the 1870 census. I believe that Sarah is my ggrandmother that marries Jesse Aycock and lives in Calhoun Cty. in 1880. Sarah is 14 years old on the 1870 census. Where and who are her parents? Is Nancy their sister? Please contact me if you can help. Someone suggested that Littleton Jackson and Elizabeth ? in Calhoun county,MS are their parents, but I have not found them with them or anything connecting them. Littleton Jackson is on a census there in1850 and 1860 but Sarah and Mary are not on the 1860,though there are three little girls the right age on it. A Martha 6, Eliza 4(is she Sarah?) and Jenny 3(is she Mary?) but not same names(but that is not always right on a census)though birth dates are right. Sarah (Sally) Jackson married Jesse M. Aycock. They were both born in Miss. Jesse in 1856 and Sarah in 1856. They marry about 1876 or 1877. In the 1880 census for Calhoun County, Mississippi in Pittsboro Jessee Aycock age 24 b. MS Sarah Aycock age 23 MS Suda E. Aycock 3 Ms Benjamin F. Aycock 11/12 MS They go on the have several more children James Marshall, Jesse Joeabb, Sim Millard, William Albert, and Ada Aycock. They go to Blossom, TX., where Jesse and Sarah die in 1897. Anyway, all this to say, I have been looking high and low for Sarah Jackson's parents. I would greatly appreciate any and all help on the Jacksons, Sarah and Littleton. Thank you for reading this and for your time, even if you can't help. Thank you, Carol Notify Administrator about this message?
