Seeking information on Eltira F. Saxon, son of Charles and Jane Saxon who were born in GA. They moved to Chickasaw County around 1856. Eltira F. Saxon was born ca 1855. He was on the 1870 Chickasaw County census in his father's house. None of this family appeared on the 1880 census, but were on the 1900 Chickasaw County census. This family had stopped off for a few years in Randolph County, AL and appeared on the 1850 census there. Charles's brother, Ben F. Saxon was also there in 1860. I haven't found Charles in 1860. Does anyone know anything about this family? They settled around Houlka.
