I am looking for information on William Vance (about 1811 SC) married to Jane or Nancy. Their children were: Samuel P., Jepie, George, William, Sarah A., Andrew, Robert, John, Edward and Thomas. The family first came to Water Valley, MS around 1848 and then moved to Chickasaw County. My father is Curtis Vance, son of Henry Vance, son of Charles Wesley Vance, son of George Vance (believed to have been killed in the Civil War), son of William Vance. I would appreciate any infomation on this Vance family.
