Who is Emma J. Evans, 25 b. MS who is in the 1870 census with these individuals?
1870 Houlka, Chickasaw, MS
William M. Bell and his wife, Francis J. Evans
Their children:
Thad B. 11; John S. 8; William W. 2
Francis's mother:
Ann Smith Evans 66, widowed b. SC (daughter of Wm. Smith)
Zack T. Evans, son of Ann Smith Evans 23
Emma J. Evans, 25
Ann Smith was married to Robert Evans, b. 1788 in SC.
He had died in Yalobusha County, MS in 1857.
I have not found Emma J. Evans anywhere else besides this 1870 census. In the 1840 census there is a female who would be about this age, but I've never seen her anywhere else.
Does anyone know who this is?
