Is there a library in Okolona, Chickawaw County?

My wife and I are interested in researching possible Riley ancestors who, apparently, lived in or near Okolona, MS in the 1800's. We will be visiting the area (from Indianapolis, IN) in the near future and we're wondering if there might be someplace in Okolona that would be worth visiting for family tree research purposes. We're particularly interested in details on a hanging of a Jesse Riley in 1868 that was mentioned in a Memphis newspaper. Here's what we know:

"RILEY is Hung Near Okolona
Chickasaw County, Mississippi Lynching
The Memphis Daily Avalanche
Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee
November 26, 1868
A notorious outlaw named JESSE RILEY was taken out of the hands of the Deputy Sheriff of Chicksaw, Mississippi, last Friday night, and hung near Okolona."

So ... any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Will we better off researching this in Pontotoc or at some other site?

Thanks very much! Martin Meadows
