Would like to correspond with anyone researching these families in Choctaw Co, MS Gilbert C. Anderson and his family were in Tuscaloosa County, AL, USA in 1850 and yet, only his wife Delila and two sons are found in Choctaw Co, MS in 1860. 1860-Twp 18, Choctaw Co., MS, P.O.: Dido, 26 Jul 1860 DELILA ANDERSON 53, household, 480, 675?, SC Seburn L. 22 AL farmer Perry A. 12 AL By 1870, Delila would be in Texas....and her daughter, Lurainie would be in Choctaw County, MS married to a Geo A. Robertson/Robinson: 1870 Choctaw County MS, TWP 18 range 11, PO Dido, June 5, 1870, pg 456A Robertson, George A., m, w, 33 yrs, (birth abt 1837), 300, S.C. (moved here July of 1870?) Robertson, Luranie A., f, w, 26 yrs (birth abt 1844), keeping house, AL Robertson, Nancy E., f, w, 8 yrs (birth abt 1862) MS Robertson, Gilbert M., m, w, 3 yrs (birth abt 1867) MS Robertson, Joella, f, w, 1 yr, (birth abt 1869) MS McLain?, Elizabeth, 89, f, w, NC Lurainie Anderson-Robertson would follow her mother to Texas by 1872 and would marry a John Pitman in 1874. In Texas, the only Robertson child I've found is Gilbert M. Robertson who would show up in the 1880 Hunt County census as a "Robinson". Notify Administrator about this message?
