dear mr. stein (jay)
thanks for reply. Even tho hazy, it may ring a bell. Carroll Co Tn is a county where many of my stoker kin lived; many moved on to Weakley Co just n.w. And my Green Stoker kin lived up there in TN.in those counties. So... there is a possibility that your kin took in an extra child named Green Stoker and took him to MS. That is theory, but the name is so unusual there has to be a connection. Could be they had too many kids; could be he was difficult; could be he was friends with one of the kids in your kin's family. etc etc.
so what do we do... just keep me in mind .. jim mullin, Weatherford Tx, in phone book. mullo25@sbcglobal.net or mullo25@excite.com if you find more info sometime, please do let me know. ((I probably said this, but a number of my Ala Stoker (and other names) kin moved to Tishimingo Co and nearby, and they apparently knew (slightly) the Carroll Co TN Stokers, since they all came from North Carolina.
thanks. Jim mullin, Weatherford Texas
