I am looking for parents of Mary Angeline Cooper, born 1840-1845 possibly in Choctaw Co., MS. She married James Madison Pepper in about 1865. They are on the 1870 census in Choctaw County, MS, and in 1880 are in Sumner Co., MS. Mary died before 1900. Their children were Stacia b. abt 1866, James M. Jr. b. abt 1868, Samuel F. b. abt 1870, Mary L.A. born abt 1872, Charles L. b. abt 1875, Serena D. b. abt 1877, Bell b. abt 1879, Ola C. b. Mar 1883.

Mary's parents are in the 1850 and 1860 census of Choctaw Co. In 1850 her father looks like D.A. and mother Syntha. Children Zemula 12, William 11, Sarah 8, Mary 6, Benjamin 4, Missouri 1. Father is a blacksmith age 38, both parents born SC

In the 1860 census, her parents appear to be J.A. Cooper, wife possibly Julia (second marriage apparently), children Sarah M. 18, William L. 20, Mary A. 16, Julius B. 14, Missouria E. 11, Carrenier D.C. 7, John 1. Father still a blacksmith.

Thanks for any help.
