Charlotte, I'm not related, but did see the following Confederate soldier's record: Joseph M. Carver Enlisted March 4, 1862 in Choctaw County, MS as 5th Sgt. in Company B, 31st Mississippi Infantry. One roll notes the he "died at home Choctaw Cty. of fever June 10, 1862" and another notes the same date and place of death but cause being "hemorrhage bowels". That was the extent of his compiled service record. Good luck, Scott Notify Administrator about this message?
