I have located Eliza & William McKinley on the 1880 census with 4 children including Mattie. William lists his parentage as AL & Eliza's is MS. I learned that Eliza was Mulatto, I had no previous knowledge of that fact. I'd love to know more about Eliza's parents. I've been told that her "folks" were Barron's but I do not find a 10 year old mulatto female on the 1860 census for the Barron family. I do find a 10 year old mulatto female among the Matthews. Anyone with information please fill me in. Thanks.
