Bird Harris from Clarke County, Mississippi was my great great grandfather and he is not the Ransom Harris from Itawomba County. His wife was Frances Sumrall Harris. He died at Vicksburg, Mississippi, May 1863. The name Ransom has never been listed on the Bird Harris from Clarke County an any records that I have seen.
