This Elizabeth Carr is the mother of my gg grandmother, Allie Carr. Her stepfather, EN Briggs, signed her marriage bond because she was only 15 at the time of her marriage. She married William Jackson Coker, a Civil War vet, aged 25. Wylie Lott was a witness. Elizabeth Carr is the sister or an ex wife of Samuel F. Carr, who is a witness on her marriage license to David Smith. David Smith was most probably a widower. His household shows to be close to the Carr's on the census. The Carr's are household 917 on the Clarke County Mississippi 1860 census. Allie was born in 1853. Elizabeth married David Smith in 1855.
