Hi Wendy, I think emailed a while back, on this forum as I remember your Email address, but I believe it was concerning the Payne connection. I would love to have a copy of that passage, and will contact you at your private address. I did want to post here as well, in case someone else was searching for our lines and then be able to contact either one of us about them I have been working on adding Charity Suttles to the line. I have just been trying to have more actual proof of it. I had thought that Mary Malone is actually James (Tn) McQuirter's daughter from the union with Mary Quimby. So she would have been Lucinda's Aunt. But since you are saying that the third wife was Sarah unknown Malone, that sort of put's a new spin on the whole thing :) (and explains a issue I was having with DOB's too A cousin through the Anderson McQuirter Line, pointed me in the direction of the last marriage of James which helped me to connect Sarah E (unknown) JT McQuirter, and Maggie McQuirter Thompson, to our line. I have this theory that all the McQuirter's in Mississippi, Alabama, Mississippi are the same family. Also throw in the MacQuirter's in Georgia (after 1912) and McQurter's (after 1917) also in Georgia and Alabama, Louisanna, and Texas. Now if I can just make it back to Tennessee. I am currently working on your husband's Payne family, and already so confused. It is almost as bad as my tangled Ivy/Ivey vines which I am seeing are in almost every branch of these families. I also have proof of Carrie Elizabeth's Steinwinder connection and Josephus second marriage with Frances (Fannie) Roseberry two more half brother's to Carrie Elizabeth (Bettie, my Great Great Grandmother), the one which Andrew Jackson Ivy(Ivey) raised as his own. I know that Josephus is burried in Moore Cememtery, though it is driving me nuts as to why. Our familys connection to the Quimby's is also very entwined. James McQuirter married Mary Quimby, and his sister Elizabeth married Bennett Quimby. Then you have the other sister Mary with Owen Evans, and the last known sister Telitha (Maybe also Tabitha) married to Absalom Smith (I think I may have found another marriage for her as Tabitha to a Smith) If I could only find Tindle's. I already have my Hayes connection firm. Notify Administrator about this message?
