Seeking to share information with descendents of John Holmes Sherard (1855-1945) whose ancestor emigrated from Sumter County, Alabama, to Coahoma County, MS, ca 1877 with the Arrington family. My wife is the descendent of Napoleon Bonaparte Sherard (1823-1860) who was John Holmes Sherard's half-brother. John's mother was Malvina M.M. Arrington. Napoleon's mother was Sarah Elizabeth Tartt.
