Looking for the graves of Elizabeth M. Matthews (b cir. 1820) and her daughters Mary S. Matthews (b cir. 1840) and Melinda J. Matthews (b cir. 1843). They all were thought to have died between 1850 & 1858 in Coahoma County, MS. James Matthews, husband of Elizabeth, had moved the family to Coahoma Co. from Hinds Co. between 1840 and 1850. He had moved to Charlotte, Dickson Co., TN by 1858 with his surviving children, Drury N. and Sallie A. Elizabeth was the daughter of Ameriah and Melinda Nichol(s).
